Search Procedure

If your device does not respond to the FOXTEL iQ2 Remote after you have tried

all the Codes listed for your device brand, you may need to search for your

Code. This method will also work if your device brand is not listed at all. An

alternative to this search procedure is to use the FOXTEL iQ2 Remote’s learning

capability described on the following pages of this Guide.

Press and hold the

button, then press and hold the

button. Keep both buttons held down until the LED on

the FOXTEL iQ2 Remote flashes twice

Pre

button and release.

Now point the FOXTEL iQ2 Remote towards your television

and press the

PPoowweerr

butt

on.

If your television turns off press the

sseelleecctt

button to store

the Code

If your television does not turn off, press the

button

again, followed by the

PPoowweerr

but

ton. Keep alternating

between the

aavv

and the

PPoowweerr

buttons until your television

set turns off.

Some television’s do not switch on when the

on is pressed.

Please try pressing a “

” button to switch your television on

If you cannot control your device properly, please continue

the Search Method, as you may be using the wrong Code.

Follow steps 1 – 8, only step 3 changes into;

Press and hold the

button then also press the

ton) and keep both pressed until the LED (top front) shows two short (red) flashes.
